You can collect for friends, just provide their details at the point of collection.

    • IS THERE A TIME LIMIT TO COMPLETE THE RACE?

No, there is no time limit to complete the races and have your finish time recorded. However, please note that three hours after the start of the Half Marathon our marshals will be stood down and normal rules of the road will apply. Bear in mind that you will have to walk and run on the pavements so please be careful of pedestrians. All runners are encouraged to continue running and every finisher will be chip timed. Any runner still on route after midday will also be given the option of a ride back to the start / finish site if they’re unable to complete the distance.

    • ARE WHEELCHAIR ENTRIES AVAILABLE?

YES! We have always had wheelchair athletes at our events, please just advise us of this when you register.

    • ARE PUSHCHAIRS / DOGS ALLOWED?

As we are an England Athletics licensed event, there are very strict rules around the use of buggies and pushchairs. Please contact us to get the latest advice from us. Please do not enter if you intend to run with a pushchair without consulting with us first.

Dogs, no sorry, we do love them but please leave your furry friends at home. Guide dogs are an exception, obviously.

    • DO YOU HAVE A BAG DROP?

A free 'open air' bag drop is available for all participants, please see your runner number for how to make use of this.

    • WHAT TIME DOES THE EVENT VILLAGE OPEN/CLOSE?

The Event Village is open from 7:30am and closes at 2pm

    • WILL THERE BE WATER AVAILABLE?

There will be water stations along the Half Marathon and 10k route. Additional water will be available to every runner at the finish line, including the 5k runners. Through our partnership with SES Water we will be using paper cups and eliminating 24,000 plastic water bottles. And all water will come exactly as it does at home, from a tap! If you prefer to drink from a bottle please bring one along as bottled water will not be available.

    • HOW DO I GET THERE?

Reigate is accessible via road and we have secured a number of car parks which you can use for a small donation to our official event charities - see here.

Reigate station is a 10 minute walk from the start, please visit nationalrail to check out your journey and if there are any planned works.

    • HOW LONG IS THE KIDS RACE?

The Kids Race on the day is 1.1miles on the day and entirely within Priory Park.

However, we encourage our young runners to complete a Cumulative Half Marathon (13.1 miles) - meaning they complete 12 miles in advance of the event day, in their own time, broken down as much as they like. For example, if they start at the beginning of July, they can run 1 mile a week and then finish on the event day with the final 1.1miles, completing their own Cumulative Half Marathon.

Kids do not have to do the full half marathon, they can complete the final 1.1miles on the event day. All Kids will receive a very well earned medal, whatever their final distance.

    • CAN I RUN IF I'M PREGNANT?

It depends how pregnant you are. It's generally thought of as safe unless you are at risk of having a premature birth, in which case you should seek your doctor's advice. In general if you are a regular runner and have been training without any issues then monitor how things are going and assess closer to the time and on the day that you feel comfortable to complete the run.

    • CAN I GET A DEFERRAL OR REFUND?

      Refunds:

As with the vast majority of races, we can’t offer a refund unless you select refundable booking at checkout. Please see our participant Terms and Conditions for more information. Please note, this is managed by the insurance company and not Run Series, you will need to go directly to them to make a claim.

      Deferrals to future events:

Our deferral policy has had to change in order to sustain our small business going forward. We can no longer support deferrals to the following year. We have always tried our best to be flexible, however this now has to be balanced with finite resources and rising costs. To protect your race place from injury and other unforeseen circumstances, we now have optional refundable booking for 10% of your registration fee. If you choose not to take up this option, please do not ask us for a refund or deferral to another event as we will not be able to do this. Thank you for your understanding.

Change Your Distance / Transfer your place to another runner:

Up until August 31st, you can transfer your distance or transfer your entry to another runner, simply log in to your registration and select the relevant option on the left-hand menu bar.

After 31st August, changes cannot be made via the Eventrac registration system. You can change your distance when you collect your race number however you cannot transfer to another runner.  If you need to do this, please contact us  although we cannot guarantee it, depending on how close to the event it is.

    • WILL THERE BE PACERS?

Yes! We will have the expert Xempo Race Pacing team with us again with experienced pacers covering five minute interval times for both the Half Marathon and 10k.

    • IS THERE A MINIMUM AGE?

Under UKA guidelines, the minimum ages to participate are as follows:

Half Marathon - 17 and over

      10k - 15 and over

      5k - 11 and over

    • I'M ON THE WAITING LIST, WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

If the distance / age wave you want to join is full a Waiting List will automatically open and you will join it. When a space becomes available, you will be sent an email inviting you to take up the place - this will only be held for 48 hours. If you do not take up the place, it will then move to the next person and your place will be forfeited.

Please don’t ask us where you are on the waiting list, this is ever changing and we cannot guarantee that you will or won’t get a place.

    • CAN I RUN WITH MY CHILD/CHILDREN?

Yes, you can! The Kids Race is held entirely within Priory Park and has its own dedicated starting area with the kids starting in waves in their school year groups. The route is taped and marshalled. Your child will be held at the end until they are reunited with you at the finish line (unless they are in Year 7 and above). However, you are welcome to run with them - but you won’t get your own medal!
